Fire of Desire
For those times when you're manifesting.
If you don't already know, I'm a big fan of manifestation. Having the capacity to control the material world with some snazzy mind tricks... yeah, I'm all about that. I practice and practice and practice, and you know what - my manifestations keep getting better over the years. Despite having plenty of manifestation tools, I figured I'd give this one a go and see what happens.
Now, when I began this ritual, I had quite a bit of embarrassment and insecurity come up around what I am looking to manifest, and I honestly can't tell you why. I write out my manifestations almost every single day - I actively force myself to tune in with my manifestations to make sure they are still in alignment with me. This lets me work out any bugs that I find coming up as the manifestation makes its way to me, so I give myself extra time to tweak and adjust.
But for some odd reason, I was experiencing some major insecurities and resistance to actually allowing myself to go along with this ritual. I suspect that this could be from giving the ritual too much power or credit - almost like a fear of success. I've never had this happen, and was quite shocked to face my internal block.
The actual shift came in after I wrote everything out (keep in mind that I only wrote down three concise things that I'm in the process of manifesting). There wasn't any special thing that I did as I was judging myself about what I had written on the piece of paper, I simply knew that I needed to move forward with the ritual since this was something that I committed to do for the next month. So I moved forward and allowed myself to feel into these manifestations - doing my best to not be so hard on myself during the process.
As I sat, post paper burning, visualizing, focusing, and believing in the things that I'm calling into my space, I felt an overwhelming feeling of confidence fill my body.
Whether it be psychosomatic or not - I experienced an immediate transformation in my feelings about my own manifestations. I went from being an on-the-fence believer to a "there's no way this won't happen" believer.
Once the ritual was complete, I took a few minutes to meditate and hang out with my healing master and the Angels that I do work with. The information that they gave me has never been clearer - and yes, it was all about my manifestations. If you decide to do this ritual, I strongly suggest taking a few minutes after you do this to connect with your body and tune into any messages that you receive from Divine Source, Angels, Guides, or whatever else you work with. Who knows, they may even give you some insight as to how to change your manifestation to get the most out of it.
If this ritual is able to do anything for you it's taking you from being a big fat skeptic about your own manifestations (which I can be from time to time) to a full blown believer in your own power. That type of confidence is something worth instilling in yourself, so this ritual is absolutely worth it.
What you'll need:
- Red candle and holder
- Pen and paper
- Glass or metal bowl (basically anything that won't catch on fire)
- Sit and visualize your goal or desire and light the candle.
- Write your desire on the piece of paper in language that is as if it has already happened.
- Read it aloud, feeling your belief and conviction build.
- Carefully put the paper into the flame and allow it to burn in the bowl.
- As your manifestation burns, release your doubts around "how" it's going to happen. Release your expectations and doubts - let the Universe handle that.
- Extinguish the candle, and continue to believe that your goal is attainable.
So much gratitude,
Rev. Sydney Finn
